Katy Perry lidera indicações ao VMA

A cantora norte-americana Katy Perry é o grande destaque na lista de indicações para o MTV Video Music Awards, divulgada no início desta quinta-feira, 21. Com os clipes das músicas "Firework" e "E.T.", esta feita em parceria com o rapper Kanye West, Katy concorre em nove categorias, duas a mais que Adele.

Já Lady Gaga, que venceu em oito categorias na edição de 2010, concorre este ano em três: Melhor Vídeo Feminino, por "Born This Way", e Melhor Direção de Arte e Melhor Coreografia, por "Judas".

Entre os artistas masculinos, Kanye West e Bruno Mars lideram as indicações, com seis e quatro, respectivamente. O astro mirim Justin Bieber foi indicado em apenas uma categoria, Melhor Vídeo Masculino, por "U Smile". A premiação acontece no dia 28 de agosto.
